How Subletting Works at Cambrian Coast
Subletting your holiday home with us is straightforward and fully supported. A dedicated member of our team will guide you through the process, helping you decide if subletting is right for you and giving an estimate of your potential earnings based on the weeks you make available.
To get started, simply provide the dates you’d like to let your caravan and complete our short letting agreement. You’re free to block off any dates you’d like to reserve for personal use. Before your first let, we’ll carry out a full check of your caravan and grade it to ensure it meets our standards. Just make sure your holiday home is guest-ready and free from personal items.
We’ll take care of all the advertising and promotion to attract bookings on your behalf. You can update your available dates throughout the season (subject to availability), and booking summaries are available upon request. Income statements are provided in July and at the end of the season, giving a clear breakdown of your bookings and the income you’ve earned.

How do I start subletting my caravan?
To get started, simply speak with our designated team member who will walk you through the process and help you complete a letting agreement. You’ll also provide the dates you wish to make your caravan available.
Can I still use my caravan for personal holidays?
Yes, absolutely! You can block off any dates you want to keep for personal use when you complete your letting agreement and update them throughout the season (subject to availability).
Do I need to prepare my caravan for guests?
Yes, your caravan should be clean, well-presented, and free from personal belongings. Our team will also carry out a full inspection and grading before the first let.
Who handles the advertising and bookings?
We take care of all the marketing, promotion, and booking management to help attract holidaymakers to your caravan.
Can I see how many bookings I’ve had?
Yes, you can request a booking summary at any time. We also provide a detailed income statement in July and again at the end of the season.
How is the income calculated and paid?
Your income is based on the number of bookings and the rate agreed for your caravan’s grade. Statements are issued twice per season, showing the full breakdown of your earnings.
What if I need to change my available dates?
You can update or manage your available dates throughout the season, subject to availability. Just contact the office to make any changes.
Is there someone I can talk to if I have questions?
